Welcome to Intelligent Completions on the Net (ICON). This is an oil and gas industry initiative with the aim of developing an accurate and relevant global knowledge resource on intelligent completions for the benefits of all levels of the oil & gas supply chain.
This web portal enables access to data held on over 3000 intelligent completions worldwide. The data is validated on an annual basis with input from both oil companies and manufacturers. Failure data is gathered in accordance with ISO 14224: Petroleum and natural gas industries – collection and exchange of reliability and maintenance data for equipment.
Read/write access to the database is restricted to ICON members only, however manufacturers may submit their own information for inclusion. To submit data please use this MS Excel format.

Jun 09: The ICON database now profiles over 3000 downhole gauges and 350 intelligent completions. On-line graphical data analysis is now available to assess the reliabilty of these gauges and sensors.
